  In the 1871 and 1881 Census' William a Shipwright and Jane Elizabeth were living in Fore Street Salcombe. In 1871 they had the following children living with them. William 10 Jenny 4 Fred 2 Harry 1 Ethan 4 months In 1891 census William and Jane were living at 22 Robinsons row, Salcombe
