    • Jim Stone was a boat builder, He built 'Blackbird' Y7
      Jim learnt his trade at Edgar Cove's in Salcombe 1914-1918.
      He then went and built boats for Sir Raymond Beck at Castle Point in Salcombe.
      Jim's son Alec was also a boat builder and learnt his trade at Edgar Cove's also.

      Jim and Alec built fishing boats at
      Goodshelter.
