- Lieutenant Arthur Frederick Halstead of the 15th Battalion, the Rifle Brigade, att. to the 1st Battalion, the Dublin Fusiliers.
His father, also called Arthur Frederick Halstead, became the Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Cordoba & Rosario Railway in Argentina and married Mary Elizabeth King there 14 June 1892 in St John's Anglican Cathedral in Buenos Aires.
"Frederick" their only son was born in Argentina in August 1893. Died 28 June 1915 aged 25.

Mary was born in Salcombe in 1867, the daughter of .. "Frederick" their only son was born in Argentina in August 1893. His sister Florence was born in Salcombe in 1897. In 1991 the family were living in sale, Cheshire. He was killed in action in Gallopoli on 28-29 June 1918 aged 25. Burial: Helles Memorial ,Gallipoli, Canakkale, Turkey.
