Notes - Started a Grocery shop in the garage beside Shadycombe House.
Coopers moved to 13/14 Fore street in what became Ellis's after the first World War
The original Ellis's was founded in the 19th Century at 61 Fore Street.
Coopers as it became known sold the business to Cyril Mulligan in the late 1950's.
So there were now two Ellis's shops.
The purchase of Coopers was reportedly backed by Mr Boon
