  Notes	From: Tana Burdon Comments (Family Frederick William Tolcher / Henrietta Dawson (F1177)): I am Frederick William Tolchers great great grand daughter, my great grand mother was Henrietta Crystal Dawson from Edinburgh Scotland. I have extensive family genealogy to add to your records if you are interested. Henrietta's parents were:- Robert Campbell Dawson, and Margaret Paton from Leith Port near Edinburgh. Robert was a wheelwright who was seconded to Bitton Bath as part of a recruitment drive by a company called Torrence & Co paper manufactures supplying Cadburys Chocolate factory in Keynsham.Robert was a wheelwrite at the Bitton paper mill. There is lots more to tell. Henrietta married young she was probably already pregnant by Frederick William Tolcher a drapers assistant living in Bristol at the time, but from Salcombe. Their first baby another Henrietta died aged 6 months of Measels in Woburn. Their next daughter was my grand mother Iris Tolcher who married a Will Percival Shackell in 1917. Iris was living with her grand moher in Salcombe vis:- Elizabeth Lidstone Hoskins(Tolcher) at Allenhayes Road.Iris was a Redroe Red Cross Nurse in WW1 her husband was Genadier Guard. I am interested to trace other Tolchers in Salcombe or Hannafords orJarvis ancestors. My mother is dead, but her sister who is Adams Tolchers great grand daughter celebrated her 100th birthday last 01 January. I think he would have been so proud of his grand daughter.
