    • 1901: In the 1901 Census Walter was living with his wife Ann and five of his seven children at 1 Gould Road, Salcombe. His occupation was Gas Works manager.

      1911: In the 1911 Census Walter and Ann were living at 1 Gould Road, Salcombe with three of their children. Arthur had sadly passed away in 1908.

      1923 Kelly's directory has Walter still living at 1 Gould Rd.Salcombe.

      1939: In the 1939 census Walter and Ann were living at Stowers Hill Bungalow.

      1948: Walter passed away on March 31st 1948 in Berkshire.

    • 1911 Census: Ann was living at 1 Gould Rd, Salcombe with her parents and siblings. Ann was a Fruiterer and Greengrocer.

      1919: In the 1919 Kelly's directory Ann E Torpey was listed as a Dressmaker, Fruiter living in Fore Street Salcombe.

      1932: At the time of her death on Dec 22 1932 Ann was living at 28 Fore Street, Salcombe.
