4	1875	1875: Salcombe Girls School built
5	1877	1877: Shadycombe Cemetery was opened. When it eventually closed a site at Bonfires Hill was purchased for Burials.
6	1893	1893: South Devon Land Company began to auction building plots. The plots varied in price from £20 to £60,
7	1895	4 Jul 1895: The Waterworks were opened.
