Salcombe's first lifeboat arrived

When it eventually closed a site at Bonfires Hill was purchased for Burials.

| 15 | 1911 | - 1911: Commander S. W. Ryder bought the ferry rights. The ferry was operated by Jim Canham until he was drowned when the Salcombe lifeboat William and Emma capsized near the Bar.
