The sun shone as the people of Salcombe gathered to remember and give thanks for the contributions made and lives lost by the soldiers and civilians during the First and Second World Wars. As in the past, Salcombe History Society was represented by Chairman Ken Prowse who laid a wreath during the Service of Commemoration, which took place at Salcombe War Memorial on Cliff Road on the morning of Sunday 11th November 2018.
